Kortney Rogers, CNM
Kortney Rogers, CNM, brings a passion for holistic, family-centered care for her patients, while delivering the highest level of evidence-based care in partnership between the patients, midwives, and physicians. She values building relationships with patients and focuses on education and compassionate care.
After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, Kortney began caring for patients as a labor and delivery nurse. Working alongside midwives, she fell in love with the art of midwifery. Kortney received her Masters in Nurse-Midwifery from Emory University. She is nationally certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board and is a member of the American College of Nurse-Midwives. Kortney has worked in Labor and Delivery at Northside Hospital Forsyth for several years, has trained under midwives through Northside Hospital, and has participated in the delivery of hundreds of babies.
Kortney is passionate about women’s healthcare and believes in caring for women throughout all stages of life. She loves being part of the delivery of a new baby and believes in informed decision-making, and helping women to have a healthy and happy delivery experience. Following the midwifery model of care, Kortney believes in personal autonomy, the value of education, and empathizing with women both during pregnancy and beyond. As a midwife, she knows that collaboration is important and is excited to work alongside the Modern Ob/Gyn team.
In her spare time, Kortney enjoys spending time with her husband and dogs. Some of her passions include reading, traveling, and exploring new restaurants.
